Comment on how to make this happen

Description
Comment on how this could happen, as what I have here I don't think would happen. Just wanted to start a conversation with Evander Kane to the Bruins (which obviously he'd have to agree to with his modified NTC). I UNDERSTAND ALL OF THIS IS PRETTY MUCH DREAMING/HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING but still let's talk

Remove Dillon and Moore and you have a deal I’d assume

This would make the Bruins pretty weak down the middle.

This is complete and utter fiction. It’s not your fault, i feel like half the world thinks that krejci is just made of glass. This notion is not based in reality. He played 81 games last year, he was held out of the last game of the season because there was no need for the bruins to play anyone. He’s had one major injury during the season. I think in 14-15 he missed about 30-35 games. A couple years ago he missed a dozen or so. Other than that? Bumps and bruises. No major time missed. This is his 13th season since being called up as a full time NHLer. Wanna know how many times he’s missed more than 10 games? Just twice. 8 out of 12 of his seasons (I’m not counting this one, as it’s far from over), he’s missed fewer than five games.

so you may think he is ALWAYS HURT, but you are ABSOLUTELY WRONG.

I would like to argue one point here. Krejci similar to bergerons groin, has a back/hip issue hes been dealing with for years. He will miss time with it, he will tweak it, he will play through it. But he has a real injury. there was a 3 year period where he wasnt great because of it. last year was his best year in a long time. that being said i think he should have been traded last offseason when his value was highest. it didnt happen. you have to keep him rest of year now and go for the cup with him as your 2c.

So, as to how to make Evander Kane to boston happen, that’s a tricky one. Start by taking out krejci, and Dillon. The bruins can’t trade krejci without getting a damn good center back. He’s a very important player for them. So it starts with the notion that the Sharks are punting. There would have to be a weird reason for them to want to move on from Kane, but in that instance it would need to involve salary going to San Jose. So let’s say Backes (unless his recent demotion pushes him to LTIR). Then there would have to be a first, a young roster player, say Bjork, and a very good prospect. I would hope it wouldn’t have to be Vaakainanen, so Lauzon, or something like that.

Players with that much term don’t often get moved.

Um okay. He plays hurt? Everyone does. The poster says he’s always hurt. I naturally assumed that he meant he’s always missing time, because if were talking about guys playing hurt wtf are we talking about? He doesn’t miss a lot of time. He hasn’t over the course of his career. The posters statement was 100% fictitious, with zero basis in reality. That is not subjective. That is fact. Feel free to check out his hockeydb page.

i mean he missed 18 games 2 years ago and the year before he had the back injury and missed 35 like you said. i think its more of a recency bias thing. there was definitely a stretch where he was labeled injury prone because of that back/hip issue because of when he suffered it and then it lingered. he has had 2 full seasons in the last 2 out of 3 though which is better than i recalled.

No. He missed 18 games 2 years ago, and the year before that he missed, zero games. Played the full 82. The year before that he missed a whopping 10 games, which is much more than usual for him. The year before that he had the back/hip issue and missed 35. And before that he missed 20 games...not in that season, in his entire career. If you want it laid out for you, here’s how many games krejci has missed in his career. Note that I think he got concussed on his first call up, but its really tough to tell how many games he missed because of that, and how many he missed because he was like a 20 year old call up. I’m going to start the year he was promoted to the NHL for good.
Missed games: 0, 0, 3, 7, 3, 1, 2, 35, 10, 0, 18, 1. Some of those games missed were at the end of the season when everything was locked up. Has he ever been suspended? I can’t remember.

It’s just made up man.

Lol. Krejci is an Ironman and Kane is a POS and locker room cancer. Kills center depth. I’d do everything I could to keep it from happening.

sorry that was a misstype on my part, thats what i get for trying to forum and work at same time.... But from 2013 up until the beginning of last year. there seemed like there was always something hampering him, whether it was the hip, the back, a shoulder. Like obviously everyone plays injured in the nhl. theres really no way around it in a contact sport. But it seemed like he was always out at the important parts of the season or the memorable parts of the season which gave him the injury prone stigma. NBCSports Boston wrote an article about it.
