I like the idea of Wennberg going to Vancouver but just out of curiosity would you just take Baertschi for Bittner and Ryan Collins?

No, because the only way adding Baertschi is to lose Wennberg’s cap. Still gotta sign Dubois, Andy, and others in the off-season.

I think Toronto is only interested in adding defensemen, veteran or not. They have plenty of bottom-6 wingers.

Right now you guys are in the thick of the wild-card/playoff hunt. Are you sure you want to trade Milano (who's finally showing some signs of fulfilling his potential) and Kukan?

I like both of them, but CBJ also needs draft stock. Team is clicking without them now. Also need to move Wennberg, so I think a trade like this package is the only way to do that.

Honestly trying to figure out why we are selling at the deadline when we are in a wild card position and are playing well with players returning from injuries.

We shouldn’t be making these trades. Wennberg is finally starting to play again, Milano is finally starting to look like a 1st round pick and starting to play like that. Kukan has been a solid player and hasn’t had too many injuries in his career. I’d be looking at moving Murray if we are to move anyone.

Also Baertchi is awful... he was waived at the start of the season for a reason.
