I think your over valuing him a bit. Broberg and Bouchard are potentially top line defensemen. And even there not guaranteed to become that. And in my opinion Samourokov is step or two below them.

And Andersson isnt even a NHL player, so if we take the crap out. maybe poolparty and Andersson are not NHLers and you get Samorukov for free

But it’s three way trade so if you say Puljujärvi and Anderson cancel each other out we’re basically trading Samorukov and Benning for Kappanen. Which I pretty fair.

I’m talking as an entire three way trade. Not directly Puljujärvi and Samorukov for Anderson. Toronto wouldn’t take Benning straight on for Kappanen would they?

Three way is quite off in value, why would TO give you Kapenen for Benning and Georgiev when the could very well just bypass Edmonton all together and send Kap to NYR for Georgiev and Lias Andersson. None of this makes sense from the Leafs POV
