2nd for Berggren is fine for Georgy...AA isn't it.. He has to be resigned, which isn't really going to work without some cap gymnastics.

Detroit wants nothing to do Andersson and his temper tantrums and walking on his team mid season. Detroit would want a good young defenseman or a good D prospect for AA. I don't think NYR trades Georgiev not before Shesterkin has some more experience and can handle the amount of games expected of a starting goalie in the NHL. I know you have Pickard going to NYR but I'd start Bernier minus a leg before starting Pickard.

What about minus the 2nd and andersson I still think it is a bit of an overpay. But Georgiev with a 3rd and 7th for AA and pickard is a bit closer.

Honestly AA for Georgiev 3rd is probably even value wise but I really don't think Detroit trades AA for a goalie. Their D still needs to much work before they put a young goalie in net. Detroit is 13 points behind the next worse team. Say Detroit trades for Georgiev and puts him in right away it could very well ruin him. NYI put up a snow man against Detroit last game and Howard has been pulled 4 times this season and you really can't blame Howard for those. Plus Gorton would be a fool to trade Georgiev before next season.

If you are worried about putting Georgiev in goal with a horrid defense in front of him, rest assured he has some experience in that department.
