Make the 2021 2nd become a 2021 1st if Toffoli re-signs in Calgary and the Kings say yes. You can downgrade the 2020 pick to a 3rd (or 4th if Calgary acquires another).

I like these trades though I have reservations about sending out our 1st round picks. Especially 2 in consecutive years. But with the players coming in and the way the lineup looks moving forward I like it. Maybe our wizard of a gm will find a way to pull it off without the picks lol

The point is that LA doesn't want Toffoli to re-sign in Calgary, so the 1st would be the price that would guarantee that he would just be a rental. Calgary wouldn't have to give up their 1st because they wouldn't re-sign him.

Then I think the Kings would opt to send Toffoli out of the division for a similar return to a team like Boston or Pittsburgh. A division rival would have to overpay for LA to consider trading within the division.

I like the trades for sure.. but CAR doesn't need more defense and MIN will need a lot more for Dumba.
