same and the price isn't far off. but given the state of the 2020 draft and where the Flyers sit currently... chances are a 2021 1st would make more sense for Chucky. could happen though

Look at what you guys got for Stone and Duchene last year.

Now look at Pageau's career stats vs Stone and Duchene.

2nd round pick and a mid tier prospect is about the return you'll get for Pageau.

I think Ottawa will be very lucky to get a 1st for Pageau. Most of these deals are ridiculous overpayments, especially since there may be teams with better wingers that come with term to sell off.

Onl way Ottawa gets a 1st and good prospect if they take on money coming back, which is doubtful with a cheap owner.

If its not a first, it will be a B+ prospect and a 2nd, with ECF/Resign conditions

I know but if Minnesota and Montreal start selling a bit both have better wingers with term that could be had for a bit more and I think that's were teams will lead. Also see Pageau as the last minute guy, someone who Dorion waits to long on and ends up taking whatever he can at the 3pm deadline
