I know but just couldn't accept the fact of giving up a second round and not make the playoff.

I feel like the aspirations are opposite here.

Montreal doesn't care if they make the playoffs and Chicago is still trying too, also no way does Montreal trade a pick of that quality for a rental UFA.

It’s too bad Montreal will probably miss again.

Not only do I like the trade, but I could totally get behind a Habs team with Crow in goal.
