Description

Would take a king’s ransom to pull Brady out of OTT at this point, but could a deal like this do it?

PIT moves a couple pending UFAs and back 2 rounds in the draft to get Gaudreau for a playoff run and another 2 years...probably the ideal Top Line forward Rutherford could add to his group. Jarry seems to be in line to take the starting role anyways.

Murray (25) with a short-term extension, plus Bennett (23) with a scenery change to his home province, plus Phillips (21) a grade-A prospect who is lighting up the AHL, plus a 2020 1st is a massive package...Flames could replace Phillips with Kylington too.

I don't like the idea of Gaudreau to the penguins.
The pens are a team hard on the puck. That isn't Johnny.

On top of it, I don't want to move Murray and if they don't send some cap out, they can't afford a guy that expensive.

Galchenyuk sucks and Murray has lost his role in Pittsburgh.

So you just offered a UFA pending and probably not even a top 1st for a top3 FW.

If I'm Pittsburgh, I take that deal and would be willing to add a decent amount more in the form of prospects.

He produces at even strength and a has a lot of skill. Let him eat up opponents on the third line like Kessel did in 2016.

Don't really want either of these deals to happen. I like Brady Tkachuk but I don't think he'll replace the offence lost with giving up Gaudreau. Also, Pittsburgh shouldn't and probably wouldn't give up Murray
