Rather have a possible Rask replacement that has some NHL games under his belt already. We lose Halak more than likely next year, Georgiev slots in and gets more time next year with Rask. Also more insurance if Rask is out longer than expected with his concussion.

Darth has gone 1.86 .934 in the AHL and the AS break is coming. Just 3 games the rest of the month. Complete overreaction.

They lose Halak in the offseason. They will replace him in house are with a free agent in a strong goalie market.

Toffoli deal should work and I don’t hate the idea of adding georgiev and Kreider Halák is a UFA after this year and Rask after next which no real replacement in the pipe line but would have to add either studnicka or vaakanineen to the deal for NYR to even look at it
