Maybe I'm a bit biased, but as a DAL fan I've hard time seeing Makar going before Heiskanen, despite he's having a great season...

Heiskanen is perfect at #3 behind Makar and Pettersson and Hischier #4 after at 5-6 you should have Suzuki or Necas

I'd take Thomas before Suzuki or Necas to be fair. He seems more complete player.

Makar should've gone 1st if the Avs actually won that draft lottery. They always lose draft lotteries to the devils. That being said they likely would've drafted one of Patrick or Hischier and I'll take Makar instead by a lot.

There was some buzz about Makar going 1 or 2 at the time of the draft.

At the time I was hoping that would happen so Avs could land Heiskanen, honestly this worked out as perfectly as it could be for a team dropping from 1st to 4th overall.
