I don't think Rakell is available as a practical matter because we'd want Brandon Carlo in return (with or without adjusting draft choices, take your pick), and I don't see you guys doing that.

Kase is another matter. I've gone round and round with @Gofnut999 among others about him, and it depends upon how much weight you're going to give his injury history. Assuming he has a standard injury rate of 4 or 5 games per season, I think he's worth a first and Connor Clifton, but that's a risk for the Bruins. I think the low end is a second and Bjork. One thing to bear in mind is that the Ducks certainly don't need a center or left defenseman, and probably aren't keen on a LW, so the prospect has to be a RhD or RW for the deal to work for Anaheim.

We would do that in a heartbeat but the Bruins guys are breaking out the torches and pitchforks.

Rakell: more than you’d want to give up

Kase: Debrusk or Krug + 5th or 6th and we’ll take Backes for y’all cap relief

Lol, no. Debrusk>Kase.

Kase worth something like 2nd/Axel Anderson.

Rakell - 1st/Heinen/Anderson.

I don’t see either being available though.

Ok homer. You’d be awfully disappointed with the return if they did trade them. Because that is their actual trade value. As opposed to what starry eyed fanboys think. Lol.

I’m not home Kase. But I’m homing Rakell because he’s not leaving Anaheim unless it’s for something outrageous

I agree. The contract he is on is amazing, they’d be foolish to move him. But if they did that’s the type of return you are looking at. His actual trade value does not increase in reality just because you like him.

I know... @Gofnut999 was pretty close with Andersson and a 2nd.

Lol, thanks, i stick to it. Standalone that was roughly Kase value. Adding Backes with retention pushed it to a 1st. Surprised Ducks did not get a 4th or so too.
