Players we could offer, Anderson, Milano, Wennberg, Savard, Murray, and possibly our 2020 1st(conditional on Columbus making the playoff)

I think this is Columbus biggest weakness is a consistent 2nd line center. Jenner is a great 3rd like center and PLD is a number 1, and Nash is a solid 4th liner. Wennberg is too inconsistent to be a 2nd line center in the NHL and we need a 2nd line center.

I’ve heard Johansen floated around and maybe a few others. That’s what I’m looking for is to see who’s available.

You talking about guys on the cheap or long term solutions?

On the cheap and available(more 3C guys that can play 2C in a stretch... like what you say Jenner is): Turris, Sutter, Erod, Eakin,

More expensive guys: Athanasiou, Bonino, Strome,

Other options: Tyler Johnson, Sam Bennett, Roslovic

Pageau has shown he can handle top six minutes this season. I don't think he's a long term solution, but he's one of the better rental center options.

Roslovic, Kulikov, Buff and a conditional 1st for Anderson, Murray and Savard. If Buff retires officially, Columbus gets the 1st round pick.

I have a feeling he might not be the greatest fit in Columbus...

They have one. They sent him to the CHL to develop. I was kind of mad about that earlier this season. Because I knew this was still a playoff team, especially if they let all the youth play.

But that's ok. They know they are playing on house money right now. If they make it great. They shouldn't make any dumb decisions. Their future is bright.

I don't think he's coming back.
He seemed really PO about his basketball court.

Would Savard be a fit with either Fowler or Lindholm?

Eakins has been experimenting with Adam Henrique at LW with Ryan Getzlaf. Is that to give additional audition time to both Steel and Lundestrom? If Murray thinks he can go with Getzlaf, Steel and Lundestrom/Terry down the center (keeping the fourth line of DesLauriers/Grant/Rowney intact), he might shock everyone with a Henrique/Savard exchange, especially if Columbus contributed a second. But this could only happen in the summer, because the Blue Jackets have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs this year without disrupting their roster.

I wouldn’t want to touch that Henrique contract... it’ll go until he’s like 38. Columbus also has no seconds to move for anyone.

I don't think that you've looked into this subject sufficiently. Henrique turns 34 the year his contract expires. Here are the ages of some #2 centers on good teams when their contracts expire:

Brock Nelson 33
Evgeny Kuznetsov 33
Jordan Staal 34
William Karlsson 34
David Krejci 35
Brayden Schenn 36

all of whom have a higher cap hit than Henrique. Now, I'm not saying that Henrique is the equivalent of any of these players, but that's a different objection; your objection is not well-founded.
