Getting both Staal and Zucker would be great (and would cost more since each would be worth at least a first). But Andy Green doesn't really move the needle at 5 million. Pens D is fine when Dumoulin and Schultz come back. Riikola and Ruhwedel have been actually pretty decent bottom pairing.

I just don’t see them having the capital to get a top notch rental on the back end and think Green is good depth on the third pairing if Schultz or Dumo look rusty. Staal/Zucker trade is tough to value based on what Minny would be looking for.

I don’t think Staal waives his NTC because he’s said several times he wants to retire in Minnesota and I don’t think they solve the goalie issue quite yet because they’ll bridge both of them and if Jarry continues to improve next season Murray will go in expansion giving PIT the cap space to sign Marino.

I think it'll be enough if they go after Zucker or maybe Coleman from NJ. Otherwise I think the penguins are good the way they are. Their leadership and ability to get the most out of their guys is almost second to none so I don't think big changes are coming

Wild decline laughingly,

Take out both 3rds and Staal Wild might think about it but even then i doubt it. they can do much better. Late 1st and Bjugs for Zucker is meh. Galy is a bust and a UFA to be they likely try to flip for a 3rd.
