Why do people keep offering Jankowski as if he had even a modicum of value?

Good starting point for the flames but with all the attention Toffoli will get in the next little while he's going to be worth more than that. Probably going to either need a prospect or a 1st (maybe the 2nd changes to the 1st if he re-signs as someone else on here suggested) or both.

Because he does to the right team. He has 31 goals in the last 2 years, is very good on defence, has good size and knows how to use it, and he's still young.

Totally agree except his is soft at using his size for punishment purposes.

Maybe, depends on how many and which teams drop out of the playoff race. Palmieri might be for sale, Saad, Kreider, AA, R. Strome, Tatar, Gallagher (maybe), Lebanc, Granlund, Smith, Zucker. Thats a lot of wingers that very well could be available at the deadline that all have arguably the same or more value than Toffoli.

No he's definitely not, but that's why you add the pick and go from there to find the actual cost for Toffoli. But jankowski is definitely not worth nothing as some people seem to be implying
