Description
I've tried some of these trades before and some are new. Looking for some opinions.
As usual let me know how you would tweak these.
Let me know if you like them.
I understand that this is a huge number of trades for 1 season but I kinda think the Wild need to move anything that will budge.
Trades
1.
MIN
  1. Georgiev, Alexandar
Additional Details:
I just like the idea of having two starter quality goalies. 1 they push each other to perform
2 you ride the hot hand
3 it's good trade bait if you need a guy for playoffs
4 your starter is then well rested for a playoff run
I am hoping that Kahkonen becomes the 2nd starter when Dubnyks contract ends in a year. Wild ideally hang on to Stalock to expose for the expansion draft.
NYR
  1. Greenway, Jordan
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
I've run this trade before the feed back seems pretty positive as far as value is concerned.
2.
MIN
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [Reserve List]
  2. 2020 2nd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
I know most Wild fans would hate to see Foligno and Kunin go, but Wild need more skill and Oilers could use cheap 200 foot forwards.
EDM
  1. Foligno, Marcus
  2. Kunin, Luke
Additional Details:
I ran this trade before didn't get much feedback but I think it is a win win for both teams.
3.
MIN
  1. Galchenyuk, Alex
  2. Hållander, Filip
  3. 2020 1st round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
Zucker to the Pens seems like it's going to happen eventually.
PIT
  1. Zucker, Jason
  2. 2021 4th round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
4th rounder becomes a 3rd if Wild make the inexplicable decision to re-sign Galchenyuk.
4.
5.
6.
MIN
  1. McLeod, Michael
  2. Zajac, Travis
Additional Details:
McLeod is buried in NJ and could blossom in Minnesota. Zajac is a cap dump who waves his no trade to end his career with old buddy Parise.
NJD
  1. Donato, Ryan
  2. Sturm, Nico
  3. 2020 2nd round pick (MIN)

Wild need a 1c. McLeod is buried so I'm guessing he really hasn't been given much of a opportunity. In the comments I did mention that I thought the Devils would have to add. It just kinda the start of a trade so I'm hoping for some feedback.

That Boldy deal is horrid for Minnesota. He’s an excellent prospect. Keep him and rebuild with him.

I take it no one thinks much of McLeod.

It’s not even that. Boldy is a really good prospect. 10x better than McLeod.

I don't have a need to trade Boldy I figure he would motivate the devils to make a deal. I did mention I thought the Devils would have to add.
Boldy will likely be good but he was passed over by 11 teams so let's not go overboard on his value I'm not trading away McDavid. More pressing I'm looking for a future 1c for the Wild McLeod is buried in NJ and I am looking for opinions on a trade to acquire him. If anyone has a idea on how the Wild can convince NJ to move him without moving Boldy I am open to suggestions.

Couple of thoughts on this:

- You could drop the 2nd from the NJ trade. I don't really expect NJ getting that high value from Zajac and McLeod.

- Acquire McLeod's brother too. Add that 2nd from the NJ trade to the EDM trade and take Ryan McLeod from there. I think it would be funny to see a McLeod-Borgström-McLeod line lol.

- Think TOR should elevate that pick from 4th to a 2nd round pick, but that's just me.

Overall I like what you've put up here. None of the moves are clearly in one's favor. Good work.

That’s not nearly enough back for Kunin and Foligno. Foligno alone should get that.
