I sure hope they miss the playoffs. Then we’ll get all TOR AGMs for the summer.

Toronto makes the playoffs, they are sooooo loaded upfront to not make the playoffs.

The firepower up front at least gets you in and once MR/Muzzin get healthy you guys will compete against BOS/TBL, i dont think you get past either of them but you get in and anything could happen in the playoffs.

If Andersen doesn't get his act together, they can for sure miss the playoffs as Hutch shouldn't be in the NHL. I know it's not popular with fans, but the reality is defense and goaltending wins in the end.

I think the Leafs will make it but Andersen looks pretty average, have always been a Hutch fan but Dubas is crazy if he doesn't get another backup soon.

Leafs barely made the playoffs last year. After a quick start in fall of 2018, they stumbled the rest of the season. Due to cap reasons, they lost Zaitsev, Hainsey and Gardiner and replaced with three inferior Men. Barrie, Ceci and Holl.
So if you looked at the team objectively in October they were going to be a real dog fight to make the playoffs this year. Then with injuries to Hyman, Dermot, Tavares, Marner, Muzzin, Moore, Mikheyvov, and Reilly, they are in a very precarious position to make the playoffs.
Actually I'm more optimistic about the Leafs next year (though I don't know the roster) than I am with the group this year.
