You must be joking, right? Mallon is 30 yrs old in 2 weeks. The last 4 seasons he has missed between 13 & 25 games each season. You can keep your Malki. Cause this ain't happening at this price.

You're saying it like Malkin is a very bad player.

I think you think a little too high of malkin to be wanting a top 6 forward, 2 top 6 defensemen, top 9 forward AND a 1st 2nd 3rd round draft picks

I apologize for my autocorrect speller. I'm saying Malkin has been a workhorse over the last 10+ yrs. he is still a high value player, but he is starting to show some wear on his body. Can he go to age 40+ just like Jagr? Of course. What we are seeing in the league now is that the top end window on the large value and long term contracts just now starting to kick in for many teams. Younger players are getting better sooner. For a Crosby, Malkin, Ovi, Toews, Kane (Patrick, NOT Evander!!!), Parise, Suter, etc. is once they start to to drop off, the value/term make it harder to trade them. The value above seems just much too high given his age and recent injury uncertainty. A desperate GM might give up that much. Who knows.

That's the closest to a fair trade I have seen on this site. What puts teams over the hump in this league is hall of fame players. Malkin is top 5 in the world and will be for another 5 years.

Crosby, Price, Karlsson, Ovi, Toews, Benn, Tarasenko, Stamkos, Tavares, all better than Malkin and I could prob name a few more so not top 5... Or 10 too 15? Yea ill give you that

Yes Malkin is a very good player, would be a 1st line centre on most teams, just top a top 10 player in the league
