1. No, probably not. From everything Ive heard he's going to try to play again next season.
2. If we ended up resigning him, I wouldn't be too thrilled but if he signed for under 3.5 million I wouldn't be too upset. He's played better defensively recently, but still pinches too much at the wrong times.
3. If strome takes a 3 year bridge like dcat, I would probably say around 5-5.5 mil, hopefully not too much more than that but ultimately if its a bridge deal it doesn't matter TOO much as long as it isnt over 6.
4. From everything ive heard he likes it here but he doesn't want to take a discount, so if Stan ponies up and gives him 8-9 mil he probably stays. But gosh I hope so

1.) Hes going to play.
2.) Will probably be a little expensive to resign, but id rather have Boqvist take over for him and have Mitchell play next year.
3.) Probably around 5-6 million, hopefully closer to 5.
4.) Ideally yes, but depends on how much he wants.

He won't retire but I can't see him being ready by the start of the season. 3 surgeries is a lot to come back from.

There's really no need to resign him now that Boqvist is playing. I still hope they trade him at the deadline but that's unlikely with De Haan and seabrook both out the rest of the season.

Strome will hopefully take a bridge deal. Somewhere around 5 mil per.

If the hawks wanna be competitive at all the next few seasons they need to give Lehner whatever he wants. I can see 6 years 8 mil per. And trade Crawford now while he's been playing well.

IMO 5.850x8 (what they should do) or 3x4.5 (bridge)

My answers are slightly different than above.

1. Seabs has said many times that he wants to return, but I think he's done. He's 34 nearly 35, and having major surgery on both hips. He's a competitive guy and he has made it clear that he doesn't think he's done, but I think the writing is on the wall for him and his playing days are over.

2. They better not. Trade him ASAP.

3. It will likely be close to 5mil for 3 years on a bridge deal, could be a long term deal but I don't know what the dollar amount would be.

4. Hopefully. Should make in the vicinity of 7-7.5mil for 4-6 years.

Ohhhh this is fun

1. No, I expect he'll be healthy and play, at least as long as he doesn't get scratched. He's no more than a #6 defenseman and we have a lot of those. Hopefully our young guys will get a chance over him.

2. I doubt Gus gets re-signed, but I'm not confident he gets traded either. If he does, they won't get much back for him.

3. He's publicly expressed an interest in staying long term, but I don't know if that gets reflected in his next contract. My guess is $5.5 million over 3 years.

4. I sure do hope so, but I don't know if he'd want to stay. I think he'll get somewhere around $7 million over 5/6 years, be it in Chicago or elsewhere.
