I think a lot of the offers have been low in value myself but there are a lot of comments from other fan bases saying the value would be less.

I think you know very little about how a trade for dumba right now would look. You won’t be getting any stars back. You will get a decent roster player and futures.

Minny needs Centers Nylander isn't a Center - Dumba is stretch to bring in a legit 2 C. Now I know many have this projection of Dumba being or becoming a top pairing Dman - he is not and will not be a legit top pairing Dman he is however a very good 2nd pairing Dman who is struggling - I would compare a trade for Dumba similar to the trade for Phaneuf out of Calgary. Dumba has value filled with hopes and dreams but essentially will fall short of all that Top Pairing Norris vote some day expectations. Dumba shopped will likely not bring in a bonefied Top 6 C or F straight up along with the fact that most teams with a need for a Dumba type are in no position to move futures for their current present also would not be in a position to move out a Top 6 forward for Dumba

He played 3 C a few games in playoffs when Kadri was suspended and filled in at C when Matthews got hurt a few seasons ago, he wasn't terrible at it but also wasn't great. In all honesty Wild fans would ultimately be disappointed in Nylander as a Full time Top 2 C. The case with Dumba and his value is a curious case. Drafted 11 OA with a pedigree and make up of a Top pair defender averaged 30 pts the for his entry level years (anything above that would have been beyond expectations) had a great season 2 years ago when hit Broke 50 pts but ultimately has fallen off. He is currently signed to fair contract through his prime (that has value) has not shown or proved to be a game breaker or top pair defender and at 25 it's really a question of is 50 pts his ceiling? or is it going to be his average production. Is this season telling us who Dumba is? or is it a 1 off season and he'll improve. My bet is he'd improve and he is probably closer to the 50pt defender than not but that's high of a bet to put Nylander up who is at minimum a 60 pt RW who is also signed to a fair contract through his prime and at 22 potential and growth still have inflated value.

Leafs aren’t moving nylander. Certainly not for dumba. Value wise you are right. Wild would have to add a little.

The closest you will get to that type of talent is a good prospect and a first (there would be more involved in the trade just less talent). During the off season maybe you could shop around a 1 for 1.

then dumba stay its not like the wild have to trade him. This post is show the value that leaf fans are putting on dumba which is way off. weather you lile to here it or not dumba is a top 2 dman and would be a huge add for the leafs and it will cost a lot more then a couple depth forwards which are not a need for the wild.
