You tried, but as the Ranger fans have so clearly let you know (with absolutely no bias what so ever) have informed you Georgiev is all but a guarantee to be a Top 5 starter in the league for years to come with multiple Vezina nominations written stone for the future

It’s ridiculous, I offered a first round pick and Sanford as part of a 3-way trade and was told it was a “disgusting return”

I'll put money Georgiev is great pick up for any team wanting to add to their goal depth but paying anything more than a B prospect and a 3rd would be insane

His numbers haven't been mind-blowing either. He's had flashes (like the 2 games against the Leafs last year) but he's very inconsistent. Anyone paying up for him thinking he's anything more than a 50/50 goalie is going to regret it.

If he truly was starter guarantee - Rangers would be taking calls on Lundquist or at least discussing with Lundquist the possibility of moving him to a contender

But that won't happen. He said last year that he wanted to be there through the rebuild, plus 8.5 million salary makes him very hard to trade. They seem to think Shesterkin is their guy for the future.

All true,

When it comes Georgiev he gets moved at the deadline for a prospect and a 3rd - if you want him today we want a roster player plus the prospect plus the pick
