Yeah hindsight is 20/20. I know the Patriots used to take a QB in every draft. So it might be smart to do the same with goalies.

AA is an offensive, one way player like Crysby. He needs to play on a team with an NHL goalie and D-core so he can use that speed to break out and cherry-pick.

I did a bunch for jarry but I think I was only giving g like a 2nd or 3rd round pick. At that point we figured it was Murray and desmith again

Dude Jarry is a decent backup, But lets not get carried away here. I like Jarry a lot and would love to have him. But no way is he worth AA. Backups rarely get that kind of return.

I wouldn't compare him too Crosby at all, sid plays in all zones really. He isn't Bergeron in his own zone but he's responsible. Dude does cry a whole lot though

If what jarry has been this season is for real, he's worth more than AA is right now

He's playing behind a stacked team, He's not putting up those kind of numbers with a really bad Detroit squad. So it's still pretty moot here.

I remember catching so much **** a couple years ago for saying the Sens should have targeted Jarry over Gustavsson in the Brassard trade.

Well his numbers are way better than Murray and he's behind that stacked team. I think it's fair to say he's playing a bit over his head. But even so a legit young starting NHL goalie for a 50 pt defensively deficient winger. It's not a bad swap.

Tell me where I wrote that AA was anywhere near as offensively talented as Syndey. I merely pointed out that they’re both one dimensional cherry-pickers.

Ok sorry, you follow 2 teams and haven’t got a clue about the rest. Anyone that thinks a goalie who is 16-7-1 with 3 shutouts and a .929 save percentage half way thru the season is merely a backup is a troll or hasn’t got a clue lol
