Description
Some people say Connor Brown is worth a 1st round pick, others say he's worth a 2nd and a decent prospect. He might not even be available. I know not everyone is a fan of him because he doesn't play a physical game and is not a proven first-line player, but I still think he would be a good fit with Crosby and for Sullivan's system in general. He's extremely fast, tenacious and plays a good 2-way game. Decent hockey sense as well.

I think Connor Brown would bd a great fit on a scoring line for the pens. He like, most of the pens, is defensively responsible while being able to produce offensively. He'd also be cheap to re-sign allowing us to keep others on the payroll as well

This would be a solid get for the Penguins and it wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg to acquire him unlike some other players on the market. I agree with your assessment.

I agree he’s a good two way forward with the ability to get himself into scoring areas if he were to play with someone like Sid. He’s versatile and he’s definitely got the speed and intensity to play well in Sully’s system. I can see him taking a similar deal to Rust if they try to keep him, so it’s very reasonable.

Thanks guys. Yeah I think Brown could be a useful player in the Pittsburgh system. I’ve liked his game since his days with Toronto.
