Manning stinks, so a 4th to take him off his plate and then hope JP can produce at the NHL level?
Offseason....maybe it would be weird but maybe. TDL, absolutely not. cant drop a forward and manning brings no value to the Avs current D core

Kings won't be trading Kempe. If they did, it would cost a 1st round pick and more.

Kings would only trade Kempe for a first-round value, like Klefbom, or maybe the 2020 first and one of Jones/Bear (with something else going back to Alberta).

I didn't say I thought he was worth that. I said that Kings management would only trade him for that. LA would add a fourth or maybe even a third. You're the ones asking for him.

Um, Kempe is currently a 3rd line player. That might get you Puljujarvi from Edmonton. Not even 1/5 of Klefboms value

You're just bound and determined not to listen, aren't you? Let me try again.

Klefbom is a #1 LhD. His value to another team not the Kings (or Ducks, or any other team in the Division, for that matter) is accordingly high, but rivals do not want to give you proper value for ANY player if that means improving the Oilers significantly. The poster is the one asking for Kempe; I'm not trying to trade Kempe to you. If Klefbom were on an Eastern Conference team and some idiot GM wanted to trade him for some dopey reason, I would think that the Kings' offer would start with Kempe, a 2021 first and a good forward prospect like Anderson-Dolan. But this situation is the opposite: you guys are asking for Kempe, and we don't want to move him unless we can hold you up. You may not agree with that outlook, but it's institutional, not personal to me. Rob Blake has discussed trading within the Conference and within the Division on numerous occasions.
