On Pace to Finish Career OVI SID CONNOR

Created by: TheCoontniac
Team: 2019-20 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 20, 2020
Published: Jan. 20, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If Crosby stays on pace for the next 600 games, he will have 2013 points, which would put him 2nd all time behind Wayne. Crosby = 1564 GP

Ovechkin, If played another 600 games, would finish with 1928 points in 1733 games. That would have him #3 all time behind Wayne and Crosby. Ovi would have 1058 goals being #1 overall, and 168 goals ahead of Wayne. ( would be absolutely insane if he keeps his pace).

If Connor stays on pace for 1000 more games, he would have 1781 points in 1336 games! He would have plenty more games to play and would most likely pass crosby in points!

Really is a shame Sid has missed so much time throughout his career.. we were robbed of almost 3 years of his prime 2011-2013 when he played in 99 games and had 159 points (1.6ppg)

Had he never been injured it wouldn't be a stretch to think he'd be in be in the top 15 scoring ALL TIME (and could've by the end of his career cracked top 5)

Undoubtedly one of the GREATEST players to ever touch the ice

That cheap shot by Steckel costed the Penguins the 2010-11 Stanley Cup. With a healthy Sid & Geno they would’ve won it no doubt. Especially since Sid was unstoppable that year playing at his absolute best.

Okay settle down you can’t say “no doubt” lol but a healthy Malkin and Crosby we would’ve been a force

The Penguins were at the top of the NHL standings when Crosby got hurt. It was a really good team, besides Crosby & Malkin they had Kunitz, Dupuis, Neal, Kovalev, Staal & Kennedy up front. Letang, Niskanen, Martin & Orpik on defence. Especially with the way Sid was dominant they would’ve beat Boston IMO.
