I like it all. Not sure if sens will move Nilsson. I believe he will be their starter next season.

Maybe.. but I think they should at least consider this offer for Nilsson.

No doubt. I think you made an overpay here. I think that’s what it would take. But still not certain they move him.

Lol good luck moving Ceci with a 4th rounder to.... vegas? Why in the world would vegas take ceci? No one outside of a lottery team will take ceci and that will cost you more than just a 4th. Leafs are stuck with him this season

Edit: Anaheim, not vegas. Me no big brain

I feel like Ceci has positive or null value but to assure Anaheim to take him would I think require mid-draft pick.

It does make it easier to trade him because he only has 1 year left unlike JJ..... but I do think if the leafs wanna make a serious run they cannot have ceci playing D. He will cost them the cup if he plays

VAN Passes on Bracco... they have no need for him. Tanev is our best RHD and a leader on our tem. VAN likely won't part ways with him unless there is something coming back that will fill a direct need... current need is a Top 6 FWD

You are not getting top-6 FWD for Tanev. Maybe you do. Johnsson for Tanev (50% retained) and Leivo.

i know Tanev isn't worth a top 6 guy alone, even 50% retained. just saying VAN wouldn't be interested in Bracco... we have Kole Lind in the system.
Tanev 50% retained and a second (this year or next depending on what pick we give to TBL) for Kapanen?

I wouldn't move him or Balcers to get Johnsson. LW is a huge position of organizational depth and they don't need to give up assets to add one. Also if you look at Balcers AHL production is almost identical to Johnsson's. (AJ 46G, 101P, 129GP) (RB 48GP, 104P, 129GP).

The only scenario where I could see Ottawa being willing to trade Nilsson would be if they were going to make a play for Georgiev. Otherwise the sens have to keep him, because they have no option as a starter. Hogberg has been solid this season and will be the full time back up next year, but he's not an NHL starter. Andy is not an option for next year either.

I like this look a lot, but I'm not sure Tanev gets traded: Benning's job security is questionable, and subtracting from team defence for Bracco (a guy who is a great prospect but has no NHL experience) is very risky.

Despite the Canucks being a bubble team, I think Benning might want to buy at the deadline. Canucks fans are dying to make the playoffs.

That is pretty much exactly what I thought.
