Steen only makes 3.5m in actual dollars next year. That sounds like something Melnyk might be interested in.
Anyway, are you actually suggesting a team would turn down a 1st for 1 year of a 5.75m cap hit?

For a 1st round pick in 1 of the strongest drafts, lots of teams will take him.

He does have a NTC so it might be a sticking point. Bozak might be easier to move.

Even if it was 2 years, jersey has lots of cap, its a 1st round pick, they probably need at least 2 years to develop anyways

The point of the trade is to get rid of steen and sign Pietro. Selly thinks they need to trade Pietro, but there are ways arond it to keep him. these were examples for him

I see. Don't expect much return for Allen. Even with his improved numbers this year, we all know how Hutton ended up after he moved from Backup to starter. Goalies rarely fetch a strong return in the trade market, and one with a history of struggling and inconsistency won't stack up to somebody with a more stable record.

I could see Detroit flipping a B type prospect or a 3rd/4th pick for him if they were in need of a goalie next year. Otherwise you might have to buy him out.

Also, and at least in my opinion Pietro is a lesser defenseman than Josi. I see Pietro getting 8x8.75 or 9x6/7. Paying him more than Josi would be laughable.

Don't gotta be so proud and arrogant about it... Even throwing insults? You are the one who deserves to be reported if you are going to act like a jerk.

i understand the point overall. Just because the trades don't convey that point properly doesn't mean "you are right".

First if you didn’t notice this guys is a troll since. Using my username as title is a bit more unrespectful then what i said. So before making anymore comment ehen you aren’t aware of the situation, just try to mind your own business. Thank you

If you want to correct sentence it’s ok but do it right.
It’s yours and not you are. So thank for that glance of genius and you might received the nobel prize for that one

Now you're speaking Senators language. This would be a vintage Melnyk trade.

This site is not really a mind your own business kind of site, it is the internet and everyone is allowed an opinion, whether it is right or wrong, and everyone is allowed to respond. If you read the whole thread you will see that the Jersey trade is accepted and I changed the Allen trade due to advice from Warrior. I am not right always as well, but i accept it and move on. Blues certainly do not and will not trade Petro, he is a core piece of their team.

I don't care if he is a troll. Acting like you are right now defines the epitome of what makes this site needlessly worse than it should be. He used your name to simply show that the Blues have the possibility in their range of cap to actually bring Pietro back. Based on how you are acting right now I'm going to make the assumption that you acted similar on whichever thread he got the idea to make this one.

The thread is a simple hockey gesture to prove a point. I make these all the time to show how a specific signing is possible if a few other dominos fall first.

Considering you are positing publicly and I see the crude, negative attitude you are displaying, this is very much my business and I have nothing to mind.

I see him talking hockey and you spewing crap out of your rear. If you are bugged by having your name in the title, tell him like a big boy.

I didn't correct you on your grammar even though it is wrong as well. "Youre evaluation are terrible" People speak other languages like yourself and mistakes happen.

Your name is not there now. It was there to draw your attention so you could see a HOCKEY MOVE. So what if somebody disagrees with your input on a SIGNING. That happens every day on this site.
I honestly couldn't care less if my name was in a title to draw my attention to it. I am interested in all sides of a hockey argument. I'm here to talk hockey. What's the worst that could happen on a HOCKEY site if that's what we are drawn to?
What isn't needed here is the flame posting, the anger and the rage. I feel strongly against people who get violently aggressive towards a trade/idea on here. We are here to share ideas and see both sides of the coin - this is NOT an application for a real GM job. Some people see it as that, and based on your attitude, you are one of those people.

Again, you mocked his idea, you called him out, you spread lies about him and overall you drew more negative attention towards yourself than simply having your name in the title originally suggested. Honestly you should feel embarrassed more for how you acted on this thread than for being called out in contrary to your idea on a simple signing on a casual website.

@Wqrrior that how you draw attention. You don’t go public and try to humiliate or make fun of people. If you think that this was ok you are not worth wasting a single more minutes of my time with you.

Don't do to others what you don't want done to you - golden rule.

Besides, I didn't humiliate you. I simply pointed out that what you did was wrong and unacceptable in this community. If you can't take that, you don't belong on here.

again, i quote myself.
