Kerfoot is really needed this season and certainly in futures years instead soon be UFA Larsson. The cap between Larsson and Ceci isn't Kerfoot. Why bench Ceci, he isn't the Leafs worse Dman, not even the worse RHD.

Was debating between a 2nd and 3rd, decided the 2nd because I had them retaining almost 25%. Kerfoot has been pretty underwhelming to be honest.

Kind of like Larsson for his entire career? Kerfoot hasn't scored a bunch but he's been good defensively and never has been a problem. I'd keep him since he can play centre. Use Johnsson for defensive help. Sure he's better but he's easier to replace than a guy who can play centre.

Wasn't too focused on D pairings, more on the thought behind the trade to get defensive help and if it was fair value. Could just as easily swap Sandin and Ceci. Kind of feels like we will never have a fully health roster this year, but at full health, pairings could be:
Reilly - Larsson
Muzzin - Holl/Ceci
Dermott/Ceci - Barrie

Ceci
