There's no way Dallas parts with Robertson for Galchenyuk

Robertson is Dallas' best prospect and would be used in a much larger scale deal to bring in much better assets. Gally's loss of value has not been disguised by the penguins, rather it is emphasized by his fourth line usage. L'Esperance seems to have also faded in value and seems like a decent swap of assets.

Nah. Robertson is off limits.

okay, I figured. What about L'Esperance?

He's probably available.

I'd do that in a heartbeat TBH. Always liked Honka and maybe he can find his game in PIT, worth a shot.
Comeau is decent depth signed for next year too, if we needed to get rid of him he'd have 1 year 2.4M left and thats extremely moveable
L'Esperance may be able to carve out a full time NHL bottom 6 role, but maybe not.

Way I see it, Galchenyuk is undoubtedly the most skilled player in the trade and it isn't even close. However, his value is diminishing every game for the PENS, he is the complete opposite of what system we're now playing and his numbers are showing it.

If this were a trade based strictly off skill, I'd say hell no. But being realistic, I just want the guy gone for whatever we can get. Anyone willing to hit/forecheck & backcheck that's cheap, I'll take lol.
