Fun Fact: the last 18 year old goaltender to play a season in the NHL (25 games or more) was Dan Blackburn in 2001-02.

He played in the NHL at age 18.

If that's not relevant here, then I completely missed the point of this ACGM.

No it wasn't. He was drafted in 2008 at age 18 and played in 81 games in the 2008-09 season. He turned 19 on December 8, 2008, two months into his rookie season.

Oh so your telling me he played the majority of his games as a 19 year old in his rookie season?

Lmao I looked it up to make this post. Every source says 19.

Nico Hischier and Matt Duchene both turned 19 in January following their Draft year. Doughty turned 18 in December. So Doughty played 4 weeks of NHL hockey fewer than Hischier at age 18. Why does Hischier qualify for this list but not Doughty?

All it says in there is that he made his debut at 18. He turned 19 in December (as stated in previous comment). Played the majority of the season as a 19 year old so I'm assuming that's why all the stat pages I've found, say he was 19 during his first season
