Ok sorry I didn't see you changed it. McLeod looks like he could be good but a center with his size and skating ability should be dominating the AHL. Persson an undrafted RD who looked less than impressive with his time in Edmonton and a 2021 2nd round draft pick. Probably about on par with AA's play this season but I don't Detroit takes the trade it makes more sense for Detroit to hold on to him another season.

Yah McLoud has NHL speed out of Junior, he now has to get used to playing with men, and Persson had problems adjusting to the small ice surface, that is why he was sent down, but your research is pretty bang on. good job. No problem, we will keep the look out for another winger.

I was just checking out Buffalo's roster and they have 4 pending UFA's who can play LW: Sheary, Vesey, Girgensons and Larsson. Larsson might make a decent 3C in a pinch, too. None will cost a lot, all are candidates to re-sign in the offseason, making the next few months a "test-drive" period rather than a rental.

Girgensons has the most goals, Sheary has the speed I think, How is Larsson's speed?

Vessy would probably be best, but I think the oilers were in on him a few years ago and he signed in Neww York instead of Edmonton, which pissed me off. Any good college kids good to go this year, still a little early for that yet

Yeah, I honestly don't know much about them, just find them mildly interesting from the perspective of needing cheap talent. My only comment on the players is to say that Sheary seems to be an older, less talented version of Yamamoto, so I doubt Edmonton goes after him. In the West it's probably not a good idea to have too many small players, although I guess that's not such an issue vs the Pacific teams that look to be playoff bound.

But I do think you switch Persson with Jones and it gets a lot closer Detroit could use help at left defense and but not sure if Edmonton wants to give up that much for AA. Lately I've been thinking if a change of scenery is all AA needs to get back to being successful which I think is around 20 goals a season it would be much better for Detroit if he was in a different conference. Now I'm not entirely sure Holland wants AA in Edmonton given their history but who knows.
