Tell me how trading a prime Tatar for a 1st rounder that won't be in the NHL for the next 12-24 months straight up will make us contenders next year?
The Tatar trades are just to sell high on the guy because we know we won't be contender for at least 24 months and by that time he'll be 31 by that time, same can be said about Petry. I know Fleury isn't going to be a top pair guy but I like his upside and would keep him.
