So your first round pick and a steaming pile of trash for a top pair D and a top line forward? Seems fair hahahahahha

By your name and obvious dislike for the Flames in your name 'Flamesblow', it's funny how you respond. I thought Minny fans are supposed to know hockey quite well, have you even looked at the prospects that were offered here? Far from a "pile of trash". And Brodie's no superstar but he eats minutes and easily top 6 on most teams. I love seeing in here how hometown bias blinds logic so much lol
Oh wait, are you a Leafs fan, that explains it even more.

Pelltier is the one I am assuming youre claiming is some sort of impressive prospect, but he is a VERY undersized forward that plays a pretty passive style, but and playing in the high high scoring QMJHL he still only put up 80 some points last year he's a fun little junior player to watch but its hard to really expect that to translate into any sort of NHL success, he has also been playing with Khovanov for the last couple years and if you know anything about that Moncton team you know that Khovanov is the one driving that bus.

Gawdin is not a prospect, he is a what? 5th round pick that didn't produce in junior until his 20 year old season when he was a man's body in a boy's league, playing on a juggernaut Swift Current team that was absolutely loaded (Gawdin wasn't even a top 3 player on that team), he might get a cup of coffee in the NHL but wont be more than a 3rd or more likely 4th line penalty killer.

So, Brodie, an expiring contract and super over rated + a long shot to be a top 6 player in Pelltier who is a low floor player because of his size + Gawdin a hopeful third line PK role player + Jankowski an expiring contract that sucks so badly he probably wont even get a qualifying offer + a first round pick that probably lands around 15th-20th,

you want that package to bring back Minnesota's two best players? I stand by my point, its a mid first round pick and a bunch of trash.

Wild hang up.
-2 meh prospects that every team has 6 of in their system already.
-a center that is is worse than Rask.
- a rental LD when the Wild are 5 deep on the NHL roster already at that position. Then MN has to go through the trouble of trying to flip him. He adds nothing to the trade value.
-1st which is the only interesting thing in the trade.
