I think the package from the Kevin Labanc trade is more valuable than the one including Logan Couture. Sure right now Preds' 1st round pick in the lottery but if the get Couture, they might get back in the playoffs right away because Couture is better than Duchene and Johansen.

As for the Jets trade, that package won't get them Brent Burns. Sure his value isn't that high due to his recent performance and/or his contract, but he can still fetch a good return. At this point, including both Big Buff & Kulikov means that package has way less value because they're cap dump.

Too much for couture and burns. The rest are very reasonable.

You don’t trade people in the nhl. You trade contracts. And both of those contracts are bad.

100% agree with this. Couture isn't what Nashville wants, they have 3 centres long-term at 6 million +. If they get Couture, Turris comes back. In any case, it's an overpay. Burns deal isn't bad, maybe retain 25%. Labanc deal seems a bit high.
