at the trade deadline there are 19 games remaining in the regular season, both Ceci and Dillon are expiring contracts.
Kivihalme is a good prospect and yet, won't get to play LD on the Leafs....Sharks are old and have high cap hits on D contracts

And we dont need a LD at all. Our D core is much better than yours. He will sit in the AHL forever. A second is much more valuable to the sharks.

We disagree on how good Georgiev is.

Unless the Rangers get a lot in return, I'm hoping NYR doesn't trade Georgiev. Especially because after next season when Lundqvist's contract expires, the Rangers are going to need a goalie themselves. Darren Dregor believes Kapanen won't be enough in trade for Georgiev and a high draft pick would have to be included. Really hoping this is the case and the Rangers just don't give him away for pennies on the dollar.

Not really. I think he is a good goalie. But the Leafs have Freddie who will play around 55-60 games a season and therefore they don't need a goalie who is almost a starter

If the Leafs don't need a starting goalie they should trade for a true back up goalie and not Georgiev. Just trade for a backup who could keep Andersson fresh for the playoffs and can win enough games to get the Leafs into the playoffs. I'm sure there are many other goalies to chose from. The Rangers don't have to trade Georgiev until the draft if even trade him at all. During the offseason many teams will be looking for their starting goalie of the future for years to come.
