That Pittsburgh deal is way too for leaning toward SJS

Hoping Sharks trade Jumbo to Toronto to really win a cup back in home province. I think Thorton needs to get out of San Jose as he looks like he is getting very frustrated and saw him take a really totally cheap shot at Sutter the other night and then totally turtles as usual,

How so? I think Pit is moving on from Murray, and he needs a new home and SJ is a great fit + Dell is a great backup for Jarry. Burns is still an Elite D, Schultz is an expiring contract which I doubt Pit will resign.

Burns might be elite buts he is in his late 30s how long until he regresses. I mean the rest in my opinion is all good I just think all the draft picks is heavy for such older guy.

Toronto isnt winning a cup in Jumbos time, also he loves san jose and has no interest in moving.

On top of it the penguins don't need a RD.
Letang and Marino are legit top 4 guys.
Why would they want to add that huge cap hit on Burns?

You can not be serious about the Leafs not winning a cup are you? I know he loves San Jose but hoping Sharks do the right thing and let Jumbo chase his Stanley Cup ring with the Leafs this year and then Thorton resigns as UFA with San Jose and retiires after first home game in San Jose next October.

Buddy im sorry but this is not the year the leafs win the cup. Not saying they are a bad team but id say it will be 2-3 more before they are a top tier contender like Wash or STL. If I move Jumbo its to Washington for sure

Letang can play on his left side. You wouldn't want a Letang/Burns top D pair? Or even a Petterson/Burns pair?

The age is a huge knock on Burns for sure, but no one takes care of his own body better than Burns. Don't even remember the last time he missed a game

Sorry... but Columbus isn’t trading for an older Thornton unless it’s for like a 3rd. We aren’t moving Savard for a guy who’s going to retire at the end of the season, let alone adding to it. I doubt any NHL team would trade you a top 4 D with term for Thornton and add to unless they were able to fill the spot and guarantee themselves a cup with the move.

MTL decline Heed will be healthy scratches and won’t be resign so totally useless

Savard is worth 3X more than Thornton so CBJ decline too

Florida decline, Tippett is an A prospect, Dillon is worth a B prospect + late pick

Pittsburgh trade is the more off, no needs to explain, I think you know it

dude Letang can barely stop turning the puck over on his strong side, and you want to put him on his weak side.
Are you kidding me. He'd go from 41 game and 59 turn overs to 41 games and 100 turn overs. It be a disaster.
They got enough problems with him turning over the puck on his natural side.

You keep that contract. It simply does not work for the penguins. They are set on RD.
