Ottawa is not going to give up a 3rd round for Russell, maybe a 7th

Detroit also declines, take out lagesson and add in either Rodriguee or samorukov

I don't even know about that. Khaira is like a slower version of Helm and I don't think JP is a NHL player.

Greatness under Holland? Looks like just more of the same with a few tweaks. Looks like so many other teams....hoping to make a playoff spot and then hoping for a miracle.

Ottawa will pay. He is a $4 cap hit being paid $1.5. plus he is a good 3rd pairing guy. Good for budget team rebuilding with some vets

Playoff team today. Pageau and Benson with Neal make a solid third line. the fourth line is going to push the 3rd. Forward group is significantly better.

Defense is good enough.

Mostly agree, but I don't think your goaltending is good enough for Greatness.

You get a guy playing well in Europe and a former top 5 pick who still has value.

AA not having a great year. Perron trade Oilers made in the past is my template. Oilers gave up Magnuse + 2 + 4 for Perron and a 3.

Dell has never been elite, but you don't have many options at 2 mil. I'm still hoping Starrett can be next year's Binnington / Merzlikins. Confused

Idk. Minor league goaltending hasn't been as good this year. I think they still look for someone outside the organization. Maybe Smith again... Idk

Starrett hasn't been good due to injuries, the other guys a rookies who were thrown to the wolves. That never ends well... Skinner seems to be coming around though, since Christmas he's posted a .906 Sv% - not earth shattering, but he's coming along. I agree that the most likely outcome is bringing in someone from outside the org - likely a veteran on a short-term contract like Smith was last summer, but unlikely Smith again. I hope.
