Very solid. Hope they can convince Gudas to re sign also. Khudobin would be a very nice backup and if the kid McMichael can make the team, that would be incredible.

Thanks - I think it's a relative stretch that McMichael makes the team out of camp, but he looks really good right now.

Would love for it to happen and it bumps Hags down to the 4th line which would be ideal.

Yeah, hopefully McMichael can add some offense to that third line. So far, the third line of Hagelin - Eller - Panik has only created 6 goals for and 7 goals against at 5 on 5 play while all on the ice together. Caps could definitely use a bit more production there. Eller can play with talented offensive guys too, so that should work out.

I love Eller. He always hustles. I did notice a few times Saturday where Panik wanted the puck in the slot he's banging his stick on the ice, but Hags fumbles it sometimes, so it's good to see that Panik actually is getting to the right areas and wants the puck.

I think Panik will get better as the season goes on. He looks like he belongs now, and is starting to grasp the Caps' system. I think he's still a pretty good third liner. If he gets another winger that can generate offense, his numbers will pick up even more.
