My worry for OTT is that this accumulation of picks/prospects has diminishing returns. What I mean by that is. If I'm a Shane Pinto...outstanding prospect... and I see OTT with A.) Logan Brown, Josh Norris, JC Beaudin...etc... the list of quality prospects that goes on... and B.) OTT with 5 picks in the 1st/2nd round and C.) OTT takes more forwards... Why wouldn't I just wait my 4 years? What incentive would I have to sign in OTT? It's hard to say my road to the NHL is faster with OTT than waiting 3 more years with North Dakota. Right?

As a rental, Pageau won't attract many suitors at that asking price. If he's willing to sign an extension, then I can think of about 20 teams that would seriously consider it.
