Firm no from both Toronto and Calgary.

Flames need a top 6 right handed shot. Bjugstad isn't that, neither is Galchenyuk.

Leafs don't really need Pettersson, and can get DeSmith for way cheaper than a Kapanen.

Back to the drawing board for these offers.

Pens aren't trading Petterson.
They got control on him for years and he's a pretty solid D man who continues to grow.

incorrect. Pettersson is another left handed d-man.. Toronto has multiple ones that are better. Rielly (injured but will be back for playoffs), Muzzin (injured but should be back after the all star break), Dermott, Sandin.. I mean there is no room for him on Toronto so why would they go after him?
