2 things, if you are trading for Burns and making San Jose retain that much u r going to need to add more and why would u want burns until he is 39

I see you traded to get our first back... do you remember why we needed to move it?

I’m confused by Anaheim’s willingness to shell out about $1 mil for Ceci, in exchange for a 4th.

I’m not saying that he has zero value, I’m just saying that for a non playoff team to take on more payroll commitment for little to no benefit, it seems pretty frankin’ dumb, right?

You cant put a condition on your 2021 1st it already has a condition on it. As for this trade zero chance SJ retains almost half Burns contract for 5 years without at least a 1st coming back.

Is that the legit price for Dermott? What happened to "He's a top 4 dman!"

He just traded a bunch of young assets/picks for a bad contract... do you think he is spot on with Dermott?

Totally agree. Murphy has improved a lot this year and has good cap and term left. Liljegren is not proven at the NHL and Johnson is middle 6 winger. Murphy is a top 4 D, probably top line D for TOR and Nylander has shown glimpses of his potential coming out while Carpenter is so flexible and has a great cap hit and term along with Penalty Killing ability.
