remove the 2nd

How about it being like a 5th, but a conditional 2nd if Toffoli resigns?

Real question for a Kings fan - What is Toffoli's game right now? Pens getting linked with him a lot, so curious about his speed.

Id include the 2nd in that trade if we get martinez back instead of forbort. 1st round picks are values a lot more this year than before because every GM knows how deep this years draft is. Even the second, the penguins could be missing out on some great players by losing those picks so they wont trade them that easily i think. If they are, it has to be worth it for them. And the only way its worth it for them is if trading them directly results in them becoming top cup contenders

Toffoli isn't a burner. He's known for his ability to always be in the sweet spots with a really good shot to go behind it. His underestimated quality is his work on the boards. Kopitar is the only player on the Kings that is better along the boards than Toffoli. He's also a very good threat on the PK for shorthanded goals, as well as being a pretty decent power play threat.

The entire Kings team has been struggling, but Toffoli can still produce at a very high clip when placed with skilled players (read: Not on the 3rd or 4th line). This is evidenced by him being the highest scoring player on the Kings since being placed on Kopitar's line about 15-20 games ago. PPG pace, almost.

Great top-6 forward with Cup-winning experience, PK and PP capabilities, and on-pace for another 20+ goal season on one of the worst offensive teams in the league.

You put him on Malkin or Crosby’s line he’s gonna score some big goals. He feeds off who he plays with. He needs someone to create offense. He’s not gonna grab the puck and go end to end. Good along the boards, good around the net sniffing out loose pucks. He’d be a great player along side either of those guys
