Seabs will never waive and after two hip surgeries (one this month and the hip next month) hard to say if he's going to be back...certainly not till December next year so part of the cap hit gets relief next year.

It’s either full relief or no relief. Chicago doesn’t seem to like to operate on ltir. I would certainly do this trade.

I can't believe this trade is suggested by an Anaheim guy.

I’m pretty sure it is not. Much like when Edmonton had to make the moves when Sekera came back. I believe when the player comes back their cap hit is divided by the days remaining. If the team is still I ltir then the full cap hit is just tacked on. In the case of Chicago who would come off ltir I believe it is still the full cap hit as I stated but I haven’t looked into it. Just going by what I have seen.

I believe Sebas is din in the nhl though.
