Bennett is a 3rd liner AT BEST and is a bottom sixer realistically.
Jank looks like he might go through waivers.
Hamonic is a rental.
Getting Kapanen, Johnsson and Bracco would be a serious overpay for that package, even with the 1st and you want it out? Talk about underrating Leafs because they are Leafs.

Why is the first from Calgary involved? Without it the base for a deal may be possible. With it included it’s an overpayment

Value wise it's pretty fair. Jankowski and Bracco are about even. Jankowski couldn't find his way into the Leaf lineup. Bennett is OK, has an edge but again tops out as 3rd at best. Hamonic is a UFA. Leafs are giving two 2nd/3rd liners with years of control. The best part of the trade for the Leafs could be 1st rounder. Really not reason for the Leafs to make the pick, maybe not the Flames.

If Kapanen and Johnsson are complimentary players, Bennett and his four goals, and Jankowski and his one goal are uncomplimentary players.
