I think we should just give 15mil to five guys, then fill out the roster with AHLers. Sounds like a winning strategy.

You can't tell me bringing back Bread wouldn't change the outlook of this team as it approaches the playoffs though? If Seabs, Shaw and or De Haan are done, we can afford it.

Maybe it would help this year, but this really screws us going forward. If he was a UFA, then absolutely I would love to have him back, but this isn't the year to go for it.

Second this. Would rather have Cat, our D prospect and our top 10-15 pick than Breadman. I don’t care how good or talented he is I’d prefer not to mortgage the future. You put all your bread in one basket (pun intended) you could see consequences if he goes down with injury.
