Description

Not a Leafs fan btw

Leafs find their goaltender and some mustard for the playoffs, the Coyotes add some further depth scoring to aid them in their quest for a playoff berth.

Kerfoot has shown better as a winger that can cause the opposition some grief; Bonino adds some playoff experience, PK utility, and makes Toronto an even deeper team. Nashville adds a defender capable of stepping in when they lose Ekholm to expansion and some additional assets for eating Ceci.

Leafs certainly shouldn’t be trading Dmen for forwards. Probably shouldn’t be trading forwards for forwards either.

Yes, because expected goal models account for all variables that contribute to goal scoring. These stats Kane look like an AHLer. Are you the guy that thinks W. Nylander is better than Malkin?

Yeah that's half a season of a guy who has 10ish seasons in the NHL and is on the wrong side of 30.

I'll take the larger pile of evidence that says he is a good 3rd line centre. Our NHL d depth is ****tacular. We should not be trading from it for a 3c. Particularly one having a career year at 31.

Not trying to disagree with the season he is having.
We just do not need to add a FW,we need to add to the D and doing so will likely require subtraction from the FWs to do so.
