I like this move for the islanders, not sure if just a 1st rounder would be enough though. Especially with cap retention. Toss one or two of those borderline NHL prospects in there like Ho Sang or Dal Colle

These guys would both be great pickups for NYI. I'd give up a 1st for them no problem and add MDC. I'm just not sure if Bonino's contract is going to work for next year.

Add it MDC and I’d be game to retain 50% on Bonino personally which would add another 850,000 to your next years cap space.

Id be good with that personally. Selling high on bonino and granlund just hasn’t meshed in Nashville like we hoped.

Would the Preds do Bonino (50%) and Craig Smith for MDC and a 2nd and 3rd? Cap is tight with Granlund and we need right-handed forwards.

Id be fine with that ad well (2nd). We’d just trade granlund somewhere else.
