Bennet and a 3rd doesn't get you Kapanen. I am not sure TO would have any interest in Bennet. Period.

It's pretty optimistic to think kovy can move again and be happy and play up to his ability. He looks comfy in montreal, leave him there

Kovalchuk won't get into the hall of fame. Especially because since he's been back he hasn't even produced enough to make it through the contract the kings gave him. He has the skill but it's too late for him. He should've stayed in the NHL during his prime.

So, Kovalchuk is not worth a 1st. Not even close....

Yeah maybe the trade as it is but never a 1st....

If Calgary wanted Kovalchuk then they would've offered him a contract. The habs were the only ones desperate enough to give him a shot
