Tyler Johnson has an absolute no-trade clause and Paul Sastny's no-trade clause allows him to refuse a trade to Ottawa. I can't imagine either player waiving those provisions and if Las Vegas were to trade Stastny, it would be for RD help.

There was an ugly rumor floating around, I think it was Drysdale's former agent, after he was drafted by Erie in the OHL, that indicated if he was drafted by a few NHL teams, he would not sign with them. Both Ottawa and Montreal were 2 of those teams.

Tyler Johnson isn't waiving for Ottawa, And the odds of the Sens getting the #2 and #4 overall picks are slim to none. That would mean that Detroit gets either #1 or #3 overall and those odds are mightily slim.
