Quite a few, actually most, of those have merit and deserve discussion. And then there's that Toronto one.

Because he's probably not available (for good reason) and ANA really doesn't have any reason to trade him (no replacement coming up, no other "star" forwards, he's not old etc)

He's only got 2 more years after this one so maybe next year?

I mean maybe... He would still be priority number 1 to resign and keep as part of the franchise for a long time tho...

My assumption is that if the Ducks were willing to listen to offers for him, they wouldn't meet their asking price.

I love Rakell. I think he's great, and extremely valuable to the Ducks. The injury at the start of last season seemed to throw him off, and he just hasn't caught back up yet. Teams right now would be looking to steal a guy that we all know can score 30+, but won't come anywhere near that this year.

If the Ducks do trade him, they've gotta wait until he brings it all back together, because his current value just isn't where it needs to be to make sense for them to move him. The same can be said for Kase.

it really depends if Ducks are going full tank or not, they have some good pieces so i don't think they are actively shopping Rakell

i would love to see him in a bruins uniform on the second line with Debrusk and Krejci but i think it would cost a lot

maybe: 1st, conditional 3rd (based on playoff performance), and a B level prospect (i don't really know what you guys need in the pipeline)
