1. Alexis Lafrenière (Detroit Red Wings) (Details: Clear cut # 1 easy pick and should be a franchise player).
2. Lucas Raymond (Los Angeles Kings) (Details: I believe the kings would go off the board a bit with this pick.They have plenty of young centres in there system(Thomas and turcotte to name a few)what there team is really lacking is an explosive offensiveplayer who is a threat everytime they touch the ice.).
3. Jamie Drysdale (New Jersey Devils) (Details: Already have Hughes and Hischier at centre.They take the best defenceman in the draft).
4. Tim Stützle (Ottawa Senators) (Details: Ottawa is left with an easy choice at this spot. Either Stützle or Byfield. I like Stützle a tad more.).
5. Quinton Byfield (Anaheim Ducks) (Details: Besides #1,this is probably the easiest pick in the whole draft. Ducks would have the centre spot locked down with zegras and now byfield).
6. Yaroslav Askarov (Ottawa Senators from San Jose Sharks) (Details: Sens add the best  goalie prospect since Carey Price.).
7. Cole Perfetti (New York Rangers) (Details: Rangers add another dynamic forward. Perfetti looks to be a high level goal scorer at the nhl level.).

Not a chance Byfield slips beyond #2 and may even contend for #1 regardless of who's picking 2nd. Why? Because it's amazing trade bait later if they want to move someone else in this case like Turcotte.
